Knowing I didn’t want to go back on the road as an Area Sales Manager in Hotels, doing corporate presentations to a room full of adults (zzzzz), I decided I would try to bring together everything I loved… Superheroes… Fairy Tales… dressing up…. parties.. showing off and of course… KIDS and make a small business out of it!! Much to my husband’s amusement!!

 

On 1st July 2013 I launched my business. along with a plank of wood and an Ipod docking station (remember those?!) I attempted my very first Pirate Party for a free community event! It was a disaster as no one could hear me and I cried my eyes out when I got home!! (Don’t worry… I had my mum to tell me to snap out of it!) I realised I needed a decent PA system, props & a PLAN!!

 

So I planned and planned and wrote numerous parties and tested them out on various friends & customers, some bits worked and some didn’t but within 6 months we were fully booked 3 months out and started to gain an amazing reputation locally!

The team grew and grew, as did our area we covered so we added to our 4 original themes (Princess, Pirate, Superhero, Fairy) with Alice in Wonderland, Army, Trolls, Mermaids, Neverland, Ice Princess Parties, Villains, Christmas, Halloween & Unicorn! We’re constantly upgrading costumes and wigs and adding different games to the mix to make sure we’re the best we can be…

 

In the last 13 years I’ve had the privilege of meeting some of the best families who have become our great friends as we have seen their sons and daughters grow up, We’ve loved entertaining at many of their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th & 9th birthdays!!

 

Another huge perk of this amazing job is the fact that we can make a difference to the lives of some very poorly children, for the last few years now we have been supporting Keech Cottage Children’s Hospice, raising money for them in the name of Lexi Charles-Kerr and visiting the children at the hospice, and running parties for them.We also regularly visit the the children’s ward at the local hospital as elves, princesses & superheroes.

 

I’m proud to say I have the best team ever in place, all with their own amazing qualities! We have Megan, Jasmine, Shivani, Sasha, Amber, Ruby, Skye, Diaz, Kayleigh & Isla bringing sparkle to the awesome parties…. with the added bonus of our very own superhero, Ryan!
